“Love” theme Exhibitions For the entire month of Feb, the member Art Galleries in Cannon Beach
will have a special exhibition of art based on “LOVE”. Paintings, sculpture,
photography, jewelry and much more that deals with “LOVE”. Each gallery
will also participate in the Wine Walk event on Sat. 14 th to raise
money for the Children's Center.
March 1 -31
“Small Art” Exhibitions – (art sized 11” x 14” and smaller)
March is a special month where the member Art Galleries in Cannon
Beach will devote space for “Small Art”. You have heard of the miniature
shows, this is a bit bigger. Original paintings, sculpture, jewelry,
and limited edition giclées all on display and all 11”x14” and
smaller. To help with those smaller spaces in your home that needs
something special.
April 1 – 30
“Green” Exhibitions
The member Art Galleries in Cannon Beach are owned and staffed by
locals who are deeply concerned with the environment. To help celebrate
and embrace our beliefs, for the month of April each art gallery in
celebration of Earth Month, will have special works of art that are “Green”,
made
with sustainable materials. Look for the art work with the “Green
Sticker”
and
help us save our planet.

9 th Annual Spring Unveiling Weekend
Make a date to join us for the 9 th Annual Spring Unveiling Weekend.
Help us celebrate the beginning of spring as each member Art Gallery
invite several of their artists to come to Cannon Beach and bring
a selection of their latest art work. On Saturday we have set up an
unveiling schedule that will take you around to each gallery to see
their artists unveiling new work. And don't forget to stick around
Saturday night for our “Receptions”. Wander from gallery to gallery
meeting all of the artists in a relaxed party environment. Events are

June 1-30
“Plein-Air” Exhibitions
Something new will be the month long exhibition at each art gallery
devoted to Plein-Air artists. Those hearty souls that tromp around
in the fresh (and sometimes cold) air painting a spectacular piece
on location. A highlight to the exhibit will be the “Plein-Air and More” event, Saturday June 27. Look over the shoulders of fifteen
talented painters, sculptors and photographers on Saturday from 11-4pm as they create an image of the Cannon Beach area as they see us. The artists then go back to their respective galleries and the piece they had been working on will be for sale.
September 1-30
“Sculpture” Exhibitions
The focus of the Art Galleries during September will be 3 dimensional
pieces of art work, including jewelry. Check out the range of this
medium from egg carton art to life sized bronzes, stone and metal work.
This is also a good time to walk the path of the city of Cannon Beach's
outdoor display of the “Sculpture Without Walls”. This is the third
year in the program of public outdoor sculpture.
November 6-8
Annual Stormy Weather Arts Festival
From the “Quick Draw” and auction event on Friday night, to the art
walk on Saturday of all of the Art Galleries , the artist's demos,
food, wine, and music all culminating on Sunday afternoon, this is
our last celebration before the winter storms hit the coast. Join us
for this true celebration of all of the arts; fine art, music, dance
and book readings.
