Chuck Gumpert’s abstract and figurative mixed media canvases present a dialogue between color and light. Mandy Main’s oils on canvas landscapes are luminous studies of place. White Bird Gallery 251 N. Hemlock Tel:503.436.2681 Randall Tipton’s landscape-based paintings
allude to dreamlike states, as complex elements of light and depth
are reduced to create a degree of abstraction amongst his recognizable
scenes, suggesting something fundamental about nature. Christopher
Mathie captures the essence of things by deconstructing images to
their most important lines and organic forms - stylizing shapes, energetic
movement and emotion into poetic impressions. |
